200432733-001Alongside sleeping our beds are used as a base for a range of other activities like reading, TV watching and of course spending quality time with partners. Our beds could now become learning spaces too thanks to new technology designed to help sick students. According to reports, bosses at Bolton College have installed webcams in a number of classrooms so that lecturers can be filmed giving their lessons. The idea being, that if a student is sick and misses a lecture they are able to catch up at home from the comfort of their beds using devices such as laptops and iPads. With students often the butt of jokes relating to their apparent love of spending time under the covers we are sure they are likely to welcome this new adaptation to their learning schedules.
