The Grammy Awards are famed for recognising the best in music. From albums to singles, composers and new artists alike are all recognised in the music industry's biggest award ceremony. However, it's not often that a successful artist remains in bed whilst the awards are being dealt! This is exactly what singer-songwriter Adele found herself doing during the 2014 ceremony. She won the Grammy for the best song written for visual media with her song Skyfall, and the award joins the list of Oscar and Golden Globes that have already been won for the tune. Adele wasn't at the Staples Centre in LA, California to accept the award though, having chosen to spend the time around working on her new album with her 15-month-old baby boy, Angelo – but she did express her excitement for the news over twitter, E! Online reports. Adele reportedly tweeted, "Wish I was there! Thank you for the grammy! (My 10th one! Whhaaa?) Have a wonderful night. I'm in bed, now feeling very restless x." Although this may have ruffled some feathers in the industry, it's great to see that such a prolific figure is taking her sleep-health seriously – though the restlessness caused by excitement is understandable! We hope Adele managed to relax into a long, deep snooze soon after sending the tweet, getting in her full eight hours of REM sleep. Congratulations Adele! Adele wins her 10th Grammy in her sleep!
