Is this bed fabric or wood please? Also would I need the same size mattress for both top and bottom guest bed?

Hi Christina, Thank you for your enquiry. The Liv & Lou range is a painted wood finish. The top main bed takes a uk sized single, and the guest underbed is a compact single 75cm x 180cm.
