The Harmony Opal 1000 pocket sprung mattress (slimline) is a great mattress at an amazing price! Supreme quality and comfort is the name of the game with this mattress as it contains some of the best fillings and fabrics in the business! This mattress has been specifically designed for bunk beds and guest beds as mattresses for these particular types of bed are generally restricted to a height of 17cm. Even though these beds are usually used for children or guests, its often the case that our customers don't want a cheaper end mattress but something that is more supportive. This is where the Opal 1000 slimline comes into its own! The centre of the mattress is made up of a slimline 1000 pocket sprung unit. Each spring is wrapped individually in cotton that allows them to move separately of each other in order to mould to the bodies shape in effect – this means that the whole body is supported rather than just certain pints such as the hips and shoulders. The sprung unit is then covered with multiple layers of fillings that add extra comfort to the mattress such as cotton and polyester. To finish off this fabulous mattress, the whole unit is expertly upholstered with a luxurious damask cover and features traditional details such as wool tufting, flag stitched handles and brass air vents in order to keep the mattress fresh!
