Another feature of this model is that the mattress sits on top of the base system, which in turn sits on the side rails. This helps to make the Barnard the ultimate space saving design, perfect for when space is at a premium. The ottoman comes with a new and revised fully boarded ventilated side open base design which is perfect for keeping occasional use items.

The bed frame is manufactured to a high specification using a solid hardwood mix construction from plantation timbers and boards and upholstered with high density, high resilient foams and fibres.
