She may be stunning enough not to have to worry about needing too much beauty sleep, but American popstar and actress Jennifer Lopez still recognises the importance of getting a good night’s rest. Busy mum Jennifer recently told OK! Magazine that she tries to pack as much sleep as possible into her busy routine: “I still try and sleep for eight hours a night. The babies have been sleeping through the night for a long time so that hasn’t been so bad,” she said. However, the star admitted she was sometimes guilty of burning the candle at both ends, adding: “But I carry on working after they go to sleep until midnight – sometimes later.” A recent survey by the Mental Health Foundation revealed that unlike Ms Lopez, nearly a third of Brits are prevented from sleeping well by insomnia or another kind of sleep disorder.
