For the last two years New York has been the worst place in America for bedbug infestations, but now it's Philadelphia's turn to own the shudder-inducing title. Pest control company Terminix recently moved the city from its previous number five slot to number one on its list of the highest service callouts and confirmed cases. It's time for Philadelphia's residents to take a good look at the mattresses of their single, double and king size beds to ensure they shouldn’t be part of the recent statistics. Cincinnati sits in second place for the second year on the trot, while New York appears to have improved, moving down the list of worst-hit cities to number three. Ohio remains one of the worst hit, with three of its cities appearing in the list of 15 cities. The pest control company has offered several tips on slowing down the spread of the unwanted critters, including checking headboards, mattresses and box springs, not putting clothing on beds and vacuuming suitcases once they are back at home.101139212
