gavelThe bed of the late singer Michael Jackson has been withdrawn from auction in Los Angeles at the request of the pop legend's family, according to reports. Julien's Auctions last week revealed that the King of Pop's death bed had been pulled from the auction that is set to take place on December 17th. The king size bed was part of a larger sale of items from his 100 North Carolwood Drive residence. The items that are to remain on auction listings include upholstered chairs from his "medication room" with traces of the star's makeup on them and a chalkboard displaying the hand-written words of one of his children: "I (heart) Daddy. SMILE, it's for free". President of Julien's Auctions Darren Julien told the Associated Press: "This item is the only portion of the bed that had been listed for auction, and no part of the bed remains for sale."
