Bride-to-be Kate Middleton will spend her final night of sleep as a single lady at the Goring Hotel, before the royal wedding on Friday.
The London hotel, located near Buckingham Palace, is known for its ‘Britishness’, from its traditional interiors to its old-fashioned values. It opened in 1910 and has since had visits from royals, politicians and other high-profile figures.
Even if Kate is too anxious to spend much time in bed before her big day with Prince William, she can relax in the opulence of the so-called “Royal Suite” with her parents and sister.
London’s hotels are enjoying thriving business with the arrival of the ceremony, which is expected to attract an online and TV audience of an estimated two billion.
