Lady Gaga has given her one-year-old godson a personalised bedtime storybook featuring herself. The ‘Paparazzi’ and ‘Born This Way’ singer had a special version of a children’s book made which also features her godson’s name, so he can really feel like he’s taking part in the story as his two fathers, musician Elton John and his partner David Furnish, read to him before settling him down in his kid’s bed. Mr Furnish said: “You know the children’s bedtime story Goodnight Moon? Lady Gaga gave Zach a book called Goodnight Gaga.” He went on to reveal that the present includes references to the pair, with baby Zach’s name even printed on a little picture of a hairbrush. He said: “It’s very special.” It came as a surprise to many when Elton John revealed he had asked Lady Gaga to be his son’s godmother in an interview with Barbara Walters which was aired in the US on April 22nd 2011. However, he defended the singer, explaining to Ms Walters that she is as much a real person as anyone. He said: “When you get to the real person under there, there's a real simple person under there who loves her parents.”
