You snooze, you lose! Or so the saying goes. Yet Brits don’t seem to be put off by that at all, with our latest research revealing that the average snoozing time on a morning is 30 minutes. We looked into the snoozing habits of the nation and uncovered a host of interesting statistics. Did you know Northern cities are the most frequent sleepwalkers? We even found out that teachers are the most likely to hit someone while asleep. Doctors were the most likely to sleep in on a morning (86%), while Londoners were most likely to invade someone’s personal space during the night (27%). The research shows that we’re definitely a nation which enjoys our sleep, so don’t worry if you’re a regular snoozer and value those extra moments in bed – you’re certainly not alone!
