The Burton Mail revealed that operations manager Vince Cooke, along with 12 of his colleagues working at the local Boots warehouse, are hoping to raise a whopping £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. As part of their charity mission, the squad will start off at their depot in Burton and finish at Boots' head office in Beeston, Nottingham, making pit stops in Derby, Long Eaton and Beeston town centre to see if they can add to their ever-growing support from locals. Speaking to the newspaper, Mr Cooke said: "Boots are in partnership with Macmillan and employees are encouraged to take part in activities to raise funds for the charity. It will not only raise much-needed cash but also allows the work that people at the charity do to be highlighted."
