valencia copyYou’d think having a comfy bed would be a real bonus on holiday, but that wasn’t the case for one UK holidaymaker. While many of us choose king-size and super king-size beds for our home to mimic the comfort of hotel room stays, for some the relaxation provided by a good bed can apparently be too much. According to information released by travel firm sunshine.co.uk, one customer complained that the cosiness level of his hotel bed prevented him from making the most of his holiday in Portugal. He said: “I like to get up early on my holidays and make the most of excursions, walks on the beach, that kind of thing. The hotel was nice, but my bed was too comfy and I overslept five out of the seven days I was there. I prefer to be up early and making the most of it.“
