4 Quickfire Bedroom Decor Tips For Autumn

1. If your bedroom has a fireplace mantel, use it to showcase seasonal decor. Pine cones, colourful candles and dried leaf vines will all contribute to the desired look.
2. As temperatures begin to fall, embrace warm colours to give the room a cosy feeling. Bring out the colourful throws and cushions to go with your upholstered bed, and consider changing your area rug.
3. Prepare your home for the cooler temperatures by switching out lighter fabrics for heavier ones. Deeper colours and thicker fabrics will bring extra warmth to the bedroom.
4. As Autumn settles in, the sun begins to set earlier in the afternoon. Help combat this by adding more light to your room. Add an extra lamp or scatter some battery powered candles for sustained light during those dark evenings.
