French gilt

The French Gilt is wondrous bed filled with French themes from the styles of Louis XIV, Baroque, Rococo and the French Renaissance. Hand crafted by superior carvers and craftsmen. The bed is finished in genuine gold leaf, hand applied onto a coating of Gesso and firmly glued and brushed into the contours of the carvings. Real Silk and Damask upholstery, Marble tops and beautiful attention to detail with the distressing carefully controlled to highlight selected areas, where most natural wear would have occurred.
