Ambassador 1500

Be our guest, stretch out, snuggle down, relax and drift effortlessly off. The Ambassador range combines 1500 pocketed springs (in a 150cm size) with luxurious soft touch pure lambs wool and cotton fillings. The fabric also has a side stitched border for increased edge support.
Barrel shaped springs are wider round the waist allowing them to telescope into themselves when being compressed. This allows full flexing of the spring and ensures that the mattress cradles your body providing correct spinal support.
Ordinary pocketed springs are joined together by either sewing the tops and the bottoms or by clipping them together but these springs are fused together using an indestructible bond at the waist of the spring, thus allowing the springs to move independently enabling the mattress to contour perfectly to the shape of your body.

Instead of being stitched into individual pockets the springs are sonic welded. This technique uses ultra high frequency sound to fuse the pocketed material together. The benefit of this is that the bond created is twice as strong as the original material for longer life.
