The Portland from Sleepy Valley is made from solid oak in a wax finish and is one of the most stylish beds of the Sleepy Valley range. It takes the brilliant simplistic design of the Pelham and improves it by adding sweeping curves to the head board and foot board to give it more elegance. The headboard also includes one large slat in the middle which gives the bed great symmetry throughout the bed. It is very structurally strong being made of solid oak and the wax finish helps to bring out the grain beautifully. The bed uses sprung slats to give you extra support during the night which in turns helps you have a more comfortable and relaxing sleep. The sprung slats also help to prolong the life of your mattress.
