Open Coil
Open coil sprung mattresses are one of the most traditional forms of mattress on the market. This type of mattress is generally better on the pocket and therefore is an ideal choice for guest rooms or children's rooms where perhaps you don't want to spend the earth. Although a little cheaper than other mattresses we have not compromised on the usual Time4sleep quality in this range!
An open coil sprung mattress contains a core unit of springs that are twisted together and then tied around the edges with a sturdy metal support. They are then usually surrounded by high quality fillings for added comfort on top of the springs and then upholstered with great fabrics such as cotton, damask and micro quilting.
