Delivery

Q. How big is your delivery vehicle? (I live at the bottom of a very narrow lane).

A. Our contractors use a number of different vehicles but typically they are 7-½ ton extended vehicles - similar size to a furniture removal van.

If you have any concerns for access of delivery vehicles please discuss this when you place your order.


Q. Who do I contact with queries regarding my delivery?

A. Once you have placed your delivery and received your order confirmation you will be given an approximate w/c date for delivery. Should there be any change to this date we will contact you as soon as soon as possible to advise you. Our deliveries are undertaken by Furniture Logistics and they can be contacted on 01484 500560.


Q. What happens if I can't take delivery of my bed on the agreed date.

A. If you accept a delivery date that you subsequently cannot meet, a £50 re-delivery charge will be incurred.


Q. Can you offer me a specific time slot?

A. We unfortunately therefore cannot give you a specific time of delivery. We will however give you an am (8am - 12pm) or pm (12pm - 7pm) timeslot. By prior arrangement we can also arrange for our drivers to give you a call approximately 1 hour in advance of the delivery.


Q. How long does your delivery take?

A. Delivery times will vary according to the model that you have chosen. Many of our frame beds we hold in stock at our warehouse, whilst other models we have to order in. Typically mattress take 10 – 15 days. Our delivery contractors usually aim to deliver within 5-7 working days although this can vary on the time of year (i.e pre Christmas). We will confirm a w/c date for delivery once your order has been placed.


Q. My door is small will I get a bed through it?

A. Access is not usually a problem but it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods that you have ordered fit into your house. Should you have any concerns or queries please contact our customer service department and they will be able to confirm dimensions. Please note that virtually all our products come flat packed for home assembly.


Q. Do we take old beds away?

A. We do not remove old beds and mattresses for health reasons. Most local councils offer a removal service to encourage responsible recycling. No we don't take old beds away however we can recommend a Furniture recycling- company that maybe able to help Tel. 01924 375 252 www.frn.org.uk


Q. How much does delivery cost?

A. Delivery costs Time4Sleep a minimum of £35 + VAT, we impose a minimum charge of £25 on all orders under £499.


Payment

Q. What are your payment options?

A. There are several ways of paying for your bed;

The following two methods are for orders placed via the internet or telephone:
a) We accept Visa, Delta, Mastercard and Switch online.

b) Cheque payment can be made.


Q. Can I pay cash on delivery?

A. Unfortunately due to security risks we do not offer this payment option.


Q. Do you offer any credit options?

A. No. At Time4sleep we aim to delivery high quality at the lowest possible price, we do not inflate our prices to offer interest free credit.


Q. Do your prices include VAT?

A. All prices quoted on this website include Vat.


Product

Q. What sizes are available?

A. The sizes available depend upon the model that you have chosen. Most divan models are available in additional size options. The standard UK sizes are as follows:

Single 90cm x 190cm (3’0 x 6’3)
Double 135cm x 190cm (4’6 x 6’3)
King Size 150cm x 200cm (5’0 x 6’6)
Super King Size 180cm x 200cm (6’0 x 6’6)

Please note frame beds are only available in the sizes indicated on the product option pages. If you can not see the size you want we maybe able to source very similar models in alternative sizes.


Q. What type of leather do you use?

A. Depending on the model we use the following leather types:

Bi-Cast: A polyurethane coating is placed over the hide for extra protection. This type of leather is extremely durable and perfect for those who want leather but are worried about the wear and tear of frequent use.

Corrected Grain: This is a process where the textured feel is stamped onto the hide after it has been dyed. It allows the hide to be coloured in a number of various colour options. Corrected grain will not mark easily and will remain pristine and blemish free for years!


Q. What fillings are used?

A. The mattresses that we feature a number of different types of fillings, which depend upon the mattress specification. Please refer to individual model options for further details. Should you require any further detail our customers services department will be happy to assist 01484 500560.


Q. Can I view the products in a showroom?

A. Yes. Many of our models are on display at out Warehouse Direct outlet in Huddersfield. Please refer to the 'Location' section of our site for directions. Please note that not all models are on display.


Warranty and Guarantees

Q. Do I get a warranty or guarantee with my purchase?

A. All products on this website come with a 12 month warranty against defective design, workmanship, or faulty materials.

Certain products may also come with a manufacturer’s warranty which, extends beyond this period. In such instances we will endeavour to transfer to you the benefit of any manufacturer's warranty or guarantee given to us
