Probably most famous for it's distinctive Hippo and Duck characters, Silentnight is based in Barnoldswick, Lancashire and are the largest manufacturer of branded beds in the UK. Their beds are well known for the unique “No Roll Together” properties and are obviously popular, selling over 3.2 million beds over the past five years!
Part of the Silentnight Group, Silentnight beds in a major brand within the company. So much so, they are the official stockists of beds for the Alton Towers Hotel in Staffordshire.
Over the past 60 years Silentnight has had many successes, and pride themselves on providing comfort, support and a relaxing night's sleep to people all over the UK. After making around 1,800 beds per day and delivering over 2,000 beds direct to customers and retailers, a day, a Silentnight bed is sold is every 90 seconds; pretty impressive statistics!
With consumers at the forefront of their business, Silentnight are consistently committed to developing their innovative range, with the aim of creating the ultimate bed range. New for 2010 is their range of “Pocketzing” high-tech beds, with the campaign being fronted by the beautiful Kelly Brook.
Created by the team of experts at Silentnight, these new mattresses are filled with pro-biotic microcapsules called Purotex®. They work on the same principle as the pro-biotic yoghurt drinks, by putting friendly bacteria into the fabric of the mattress - helping you feel full of zing in the mornings! The pocket spring system within the beds encourage air flow throughout the mattress, ensuring you keep cool at night.
