It’s official – the people of Birmingham live like kings, after shopping research reveals that Birmingham are the nation’s biggest buyers of king size beds. The research* by online bed retailer Time4Sleep.co.uk, delves beneath the sheets to analyse bed sales throughout the UK, revealing a super-size increase in the popularity of larger beds. Size does matter to the nation’s sleepers, as the online retailer also reports that sales of ‘super’ king size beds are up by a whopping 78% in the last 12 months, with a 60% increase for king size beds **.
