d0008358A barrier has been developed by a company looking to stop people suffering from the problem of things dropping down the back of their bed, such as pillows, TV remotes and toys. The Bed Wedge Company has claimed that this "pioneering" piece of foam "preserves your sanity", all for £30-ish and above. The triangular prism is available in several sizes to match relevant mattresses and headboards. It also comes in a number of colours, starting with the somewhat gaudy regular cover emblazoned with the Bed Wedge logo. There are also several more industry-approved, tried-and-tested, child-friendly and hilariously wacky offerings such as rockets for boys and butterflies for girls. It's fun for all the family, said co-inventor and partner Ed Peisner, who characterised the oblong as a life-affirming piece of equipment: "Several times a night I would wake up because my pillow was disappearing between the headboard and mattress and interrupting my valuable REM sleep. "After we created The Bed Wedge, we realised it instantly solved that and many more problems adults and children experience that ruin a good night of sleep."
