High speed. Disco backgroundA couple of weeks ago, footage of astronaut Chris Hadfield circulated the internet as he showed millions of people around the world how it looked if someone was to cry in zero gravity. While the strangely hypnotic recording was a little off-the-wall, the scientist has instead focused his teachings on something a lot simpler: how astronauts sleep. Hadfield, who is currently floating comfortably on the International Space Station, explained how he is able to grab a nap in his unconventional environment. Explaining the situation in this video, he said that all he needs to do is put on a pair of "space jammies" before heading to his individual "sleep pod" that has a securely-fastened sleeping bag tied to the wall. The interesting thing noted in his explanation was that the lack of gravity makes it a little cheaper - after all, you don't need a pillow or mattress if you're in space, so just relax and float!
